William ADAMS Stricken at 55 .. William Clifford ADAMS, 55, a lifelong Mansfield resident, died in his home at 122 South Linden Rd early this morning following an apparent heart attack. Mr ADAMS was born in Mansfield Aug 10, 1914. He was an employe of Empire-Reeves Division, Cyclops Corp, and a member of the Mayflower United Church of Christ and McVey Post No 16 American Legion. He served with the US Army in World War II. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Mary HAZLETT ADAMS; two daughters, Mrs Zane PEGGS of Columbus, and Miss Marcia ADAMS, at home; two grandsons; two brothers, Floyd of 612 Arling Ave and Barney of 498 Midland Dr and one sister Mrs Mildred [ADAMS] TYSON of 112 South Linden Rd. Funeral services will be conducted in the JH Finefrock and Sons Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at l:30 by Rev Robert F Haskins, pastor of the Mayflower United Church of Christ. Friends may call in the funeral home after 2 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
